Research Interests
| Our research is focused on molecular biology of marine organisms. We study molecular mechanisms of adaptation in marine environment by investigating unique features of model marine organisms, molecular biodiversity and human impact on marine environment at the lowest, molecular level. Current research projects deal with mechanisms of doubly uniparental mtDNA inheritance in marine animals, the spread of antibiotic resistance in marine bacteria and gene expression in fish endocrine system. |
