The commonly observed, progressive warming of the Earth's climate, which inevitably leads to changes in the planet's ecosystems, presents us with challenges on an unknown scale. It is already obvious that the rise in the average temperature affects the world economy and agriculture. Climate change and its relationship with human activity are phenomena scientifically confirmed in the course of many years of research. Some processes cannot be stopped, but we must try to slow them down.

Therefore, according to the UN definition describing sustainable development as: Development that meets the present needs of people without limiting future generations' possibilities to meet their needs, we want to share our knowledge about how we affect the ocean environment and how the ocean affects us.

As part of the Science Days, participants will be able to learn about the most important issues related to the oceans in the context of climate change, with modern methods of researching these phenomena and with suggestions on how we can modify behavior ourselves to minimize the pace of climate change.
