Mammiform shape, in profile, of the thoracic neuropodial postchaetal lobes.
Species description
Body long, anteriorly broad and flat, posteriorly slightly flattened dorsally and rounded ventrally. Prostomium sharply conical, longer than broad. Thorax with 14-15 chaetigers. Thoracic notopodial postchaetal lobes triangular, neuropodial postchaetal lobes mammiform with a conspicuous medially inserted triangular process. Thoracic chaetae all crenulate capillaries. Abdominal notopodia with crenulate capillaries and forked chaetae. Abdominal neuropodia bilobed, with weakly crenulate capillary chaetae. Branchiae, sharply pointed, start at chaetiger 9-11. Pygidium with 2 long cirri.
Size
Up to 35 mm for 127 chaetigers.
