Body thin, the head without cephalic plate, prostomium oval.
First 4 chaetigers are at least 3 times as long as broad.
Pygidium simple, tube like.
Species description
Body cylindrical and thin without cephalic plate. Prostomium oval. Fused prostomium-peristomium is half of the length of the first chaetiger. 19 chaetigers. First 4 chaetigers at least 3 times as long as broad, the posterior segments are less than two times as long as broad. Some notopodial capillaries with, some without wings. Anterior 4 neuropodia with 1-2 acicular spines. Other neuropodia with hooks. Three short pre-pygidial achaetous segments. Pygidium simple, tube like. Tube - thin tube of clay, encrusted with small stones.
Size
Up to 30 mm for 19 chaetigers.
Color
Living animal yellowish to lemon-yellow with a red-brown pigment band at the level of the parapodia of the anterior 6 or 7 segments.
