Head without cephalic plate, prostomium anteriorly broadly rounded.
Pygidium as an asymmetrical funnel, extending further ventrally then dorsally.
Funnel with a serrated margin.
Species description
Body long and cylindrical. Head without cephalic plate. Prostomium anteriorly broadly rounded, ocelli absent. 20 chaetigers. Notopodia bear capillary chaetae with feathery tips. Three first segments with 1 or 2 ventral spines, following segments with a row of hooks. One pre-pygidial achaetous segment. Anus terminal. Pygidium as an asymmetrical funnel, extending further ventrally then dorsally, without cirri. The funnel with a serrated margin.
Size 18 mm for 11 chaetigers.

In mud mixed with stones. From sublittoral down to about 1700 m deep.
