Onchnesoma squamatum squamatum (Koren and Danielssen, 1875)
Worm resemble ball on a string.
Trunk is nearly spherical and introvert up to five times the introvert length.
Skin coarse, densely covered with large gray papillae.
6-8 tentacles.
Single (right) nephridium.
Size
Common trunk length: 4-5mm long and 2-3mm wide
Color
Dark with large gray papillae
Habitat
Inhabits sand and mud as well as detritic bottoms. Known temperatures range between 4° and 10° C.
