The transmissometer of classical design (Jerlov, 1976) build at The Institute of Oceanology, PAS, Sopot. Two instruments were in use, both of the same technical parameters, differs by the method of changing filters (remotely controlled rotor / manual change of the filter gear), and by difference in optical base (0.97 / 0.85 m).
